Repeat Prescription Requests
To ensure your medical records remain accurate and up to date, we review and update your prescribed medications every six months.
All prescription requests are reviewed by a doctor. If you have attended our clinic or a hospital outpatient appointment within the last six months and your doctor is satisfied that your condition has been appropriately monitored, a repeat prescription may be issued.
If a medication review is due, you may receive a text message or a note attached to your prescription asking you to book a routine appointment with a doctor before your next prescription can be issued.
Once approved, your prescription will be sent to your nominated pharmacy within 48 hours of your request. We recommend contacting your pharmacy before travelling to collect your medication, as dispensing times may vary.
