Our Nursing & Clinical Support Team
Our nursing and support team is a vital part of the care we provide at Generation Health. Across both our Castleknock and Monkstown clinics, our nurses, midwife, and healthcare assistants offer skilled, compassionate care—from health screenings and immunisations to chronic disease support and more.
Monkstown Clinic
- Nurse Lucie Furlong (Registered Nurse Prescriber)
Provides advanced care, including prescribing for women’s health, contraception, blood pressure management, UTIs, and sexual health. - Riley Scales (Phlebotomist & Healthcare Assistant)
Supports patient care through chronic disease management blood draws, sample collection, and general clinical assistance.
Castleknock Clinic
- Nurse Yuliya Klyukina (Midwife & Practice Nurse)
Offers chronic disease management antenatal care, cervical screening, childhood immunisations, and women’s health services. - Nurse David Lee (Practice Nurse)

Meet our Team
Dr. Nina Byrnes
Doctor
Dr. Nina Byrnes is the founder and Medical Director of Generation Health Medical Clinics,. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach and her commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible care
Dr. Byrnes graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 1996 and completed postgraduate training in hospital and community medicine in Ireland, the USA, and Australia, including time at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She is a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, reflecting her strong belief in the connection between mental and physical health.
Her special interests include preventive health, cardiovascular care, mental health, ADHD, and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Byrnes is also a well-known media contributor, having appeared on RTÉ’s Health of the Nation, Virgin Media’s Doctor in the House, and various radio programmes. She is the author of Your Health Matters and has written health columns for the Irish Independent and the Sunday Business Post

Beyond her clinical and media work, Dr. Byrnes is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of doctors and enjoys teaching visiting medical students. She continues to advocate publically for holistic, community-based healthcare that empowers patients to take charge of their wellbeing.
